*Tempeh

Tempeh is a food native of Indonesia, made from soy beans. Beans are cooked and slowly fermented with a starter called rhizopus oligosporus. This binds soybeans together into a cake form,creating the Mediterranea Bio Veg tempeh. Its high fiber and protein content make tempeh a cornerstone of a balanced diet.
